Extend theory test expiry dates if you have had tests booked and been cancelled

Rejected 17 signatures

What the petition asks

The government should extend the expiry dates on theory tests. As people have had 1 to 2 tests cancelled in 2020/2021, and have not had the chance to take their tests.
Due to the Covid 19 lockdowns, months of driving tests have been cancelled for learner drivers. Many learners’ theory certificates will expire due to the difficulties in booking driving tests in 2020 and 202. As a result, the government should extend the theory test certificate’s validity so these learners are punished no further.
