What the petition asks

The NHS workers have worked so hard during coronavirus they need a one off bonus. A thousand pounds would make a material difference and should sit alongside any pay rise.

Parliament should recognize the NHS health workers and rather than an on-going pay rise which is recognized could be unaffordable a one-off bonus should be given to them. The bonus should be meaningful to staff and a thousand pounds is a great start.

Why it was rejected
