Allow UK Licensed Aeronautical engineers obtain dual EASA and UK licences

What the petition asks
UK licensed Aircraft engineers who prior to Brexit held EASA engineering licences post Brexit no longer valid and can only certify in UK. A European licence holders can still obtain a UK CAA licence for a fee but we can’t obtain an EASA! UK engineers have been de valued in their profession.
The government needs to recognise that the UK engineers all obtained their licences within EASA by studying the European syllabus; in the current situation we are heavily disadvantaged as we can only exercise a right to certify UK registered aircraft and are no longer entitled to exercise their right to certify European aircraft. The government should look at negotiating a relationship with EASA similar too Switzerland ensuring an even field between UK engineers and European Engineers applies.
