Petition · past parliament

Sign up to an international vaccine passport then remove travel restrictions.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

We want the government to sign up to an internationally recognised vaccine passport and then abide by the promise to remove all restrictions, including travel restrictions by July 2021.
We have abided by the restrictions necessary to control Covid19 and have agreed to vaccination. We now wont the government to abide by the promised roadmap out of lockdowns and restrictions.

We accept the need for vaccine passports and the government needs to sign up to an internationally recognised scheme in order for the people of the UK who have been part of the hugely successful vaccine rollout to be free once more to join the world.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you want the Government to enable international travel, but there are no internationally recognised vaccine passport schemes for the UK to sign up to.
