Allow unrestricted wedding after 21st June 2021

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Change the current regulations due to be implemented on 21st June to remove all covid-19 restrictions and the requirement for social distancing and mask wearing at weddings Align weddings with large events, e.g Euros2020, Wimbledon, Ascot using 2x vaccine or negative test
Allows couples to have the wedding day already planned rearranged, often multiple times, costing £1000s of pounds. Allows the already invited guests to all be able to attend. Allows the already struggling wedding hospitality sector to kick start their businesses right at the beginning of the prime wedding season. Approx 50,000 weddings will be reduced in the 4 weeks from 21st June losing £365m because restrictions haven't be lifted as expected. Aligns with football, Wimbledon Ascot etc
