What the petition asks

The Events Research Programme has proven that events with thousands of people without masks or social distancing are able to safely go ahead when they use the excellent testing that our country has available, so if we have Ascot and Wimbledon - Why Not Weddings?

Monday’s announcement has caused mass confusion – our vaccination programme is going excellently, 8 out of 10 adults have Covid Antibodies, surge testing and the test and trace system is controlling localised outbreaks, we have a huge testing capacity for both PCR and LFTs, and our treatments for Covid (Dexamethasone cuts deaths by a fifth and Regeneron cuts by a fifth for those without antibodies)
Illogical and dumbfounding weddings and other smaller events cannot take place.
