Stop the veterinary groups charging extortionate fees.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

I want the government to look at what these groups are charging for consultation, medication and general procedures.
The fees that are charged for looking after unwell animals are ridiculously expensive. There are family pets suffering as pet owners are worried they can’t afford to take their pets to be seen by a vet. The mark up price of medication is unbelievably high. It’s greed and the practice groups are only looking at profit.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This is a matter for individual vets.
