Change the law to give employees 14 days paid Bereavement leave

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

I wish the government to acknowledge that, everyone deals with the death in different ways.

To acknowledge the fact ,the guidelines for such situation is ignoring the needs of individuals.

I would like the government make it law that every employee has at least 14 days paid bereavement leave.
Because employers do not allow people the chance to grieve over the loss of loved one without penalising them in some way, a law need to a put in place so this doesn’t happen, as this can have a profound impact on mental health issues.
