What the petition asks

To give current class C rigged lorry drivers the CE category so that they can drive articulated lorries.

This will help with the lorry driver shortage as more driver will be able to driver artic lorries to help supermarkets etc get their deliveries and maybe offer car drivers a cash incentive to to get their C licence or CE license.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

You may wish to sign this petition calling for the same action: Give Class 2 drivers a Class 1 licence without needing to take the test
