Give help and support for people with their energy bills

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

People are going to endure 51% increase in their energy bills from April 2022, they are going to have to either eat or Heat
It's disgraceful that members of parliament and government employees etc so the daily mail online alleges that MPs are claiming thousands of pounds in energy expenses for 2nd homes while claiming they could not help people on legacy benefits, people with covid expenses people on low-income snd the most vulnerable in society

Its seems the government are more focused on living s high-class lifestyle than looking after the most vulnerable in society .

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We understand you're concerned about the cost of energy bills, however it's not clear what specific forms of 'help and support' you want the Government to provide.

If there was a specific form of support you wanted the Government to introduce, such as a grant scheme, you could start a petition about that.
