Respect the Somalia's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Rejected 15 signatures

What the petition asks

We Demand reaffirmation from the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the UK House of Parliament to respect, the sovereignty, territorial integrity and political independence of the Federal Government of Somalia.
The recent UK House of Parliament debate on the status of Somaliland has created divisions and disunity within the Somali community in the UK. We, therefore, demand the UK Government and the UK House of Parliament to reaffirm, respect, sovereignty and the territorial integrity of the Federal Government of Somalia as a principal of Article 2 (4) of the United Nations Charter, which calls on all Members to respect the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political independence of other States.
