Update the Equality Act (2010)
Rejected

What the petition asks
We want the Government to begin 'Levelling Up' by positively acknowledging the direct and indirect discrimination of the working class population. We want Social Class to be including as one of the protected characteristics of the Equality Act (2010) to prevent any further discrimination.
For too long working class people have been progressively silenced, discriminated against, treat differently and frowned upon as unintelligent, inarticulate and unresourceful. Isn't it about time that our modern western culture learned to embrace diversity by leveraging on our differences and by included the working class in All sectors of society. No individual should be prevented from reaching their potential because of social class.
