Bring in a change of rules for cyclists by stricter policing.

Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

Bring in compulsory registration plating and insurance for any cyclists that intend to use public roads or cycle paths, including the use of footpaths.

Police cyclist more with fines for jumping lights, not stopping at zebra crossings, using a road where a cycle path is available etc
More and more cyclists are damaging cars, injuring and even killing pedestrians and there is no way to trace who they are to prosecute.

They put themselves and others in danger daily by undertaking traffic, riding on paths, not stopping at lights etc.

It will also help with crime involving cycles as any un-registered cycles will become a target to be stopped by the police.
