What the petition asks

As above but use the excess electricity that is fed back into the grid, pay it back to the government to help pay for the loans(20 year time limit on this), also utilise farm and commercial buildings to put solar onto, pay the farmer/business in free electricity, excess sold to the grid for the gov.

It’s time to not be reliant on the rest of the world for our energy, solar and battery storage is a relatively quick and easy way to do this and will make us self sufficient for 6-8 months a year. It helps not only our most vulnerable, the poorest in society but our businesses benefit from it also, the economic benefits will help us out of the deep recession we are going into as well as stopping deprivation, people are already unable to afford gas and electricity and are switching them off !!

Why it was rejected
