Remove the yearly Public Duty Cost Allowance of £115,000 for Ex Prime Ministers

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

Revoke or review the Public Duty Cost Allowance. This should be removed entirely for EX prime ministers who are still serving MPs as their salary should more than cover the costs.
Government is currently looking to impose spending cuts across a wide range of areas and this is one that should face the same action. Public opinion of MPs and politicians is at an all time low and this further goes to tarnish that image.

Why it was rejected
