What the petition asks
Give parents (and pregnant women) a permit/card to be visible in their vehicle for parking in a child & parent parking space.
As a mother to a young child I've discovered that there are very few parenting parking spaces and quite often disabled vehicle users and non-parents will park in a child & parenting spot. Not only does this make it difficult to get a pram out of the boot but difficult to get my child out of the side door without the extra room.
I propose a permit is given to expectant parents that they put in the window of the car and fines can be applied like for those who park in disabled bays.
