Drug test MPs in the same way as civil servants
Rejected
11 signatures
What the petition asks
Extend the current program of testing in the Civil Service to Members of Parliament and their staff.
The recent case of Jared o’Mara, and repeated reports of drug traces in the Palace of Westminster indicate a need for MPs to be be randomly and confidentially tested for illegal substances. So they can get help with addiction and the public can have confidence in their elected representatives judgement and probity.
