Mark English A Levels with same generosity as Welsh A Levels
Rejected
10 signatures
What the petition asks
This year, the Welsh A Levels are still marked more generously than English A Levels. It would be fair to English students to change this, so that English students are not at a disadvantage when securing university places.
If this isn't done, then students in England with similar exam performances will obtain worse grades than students a few miles over the border, and some will miss university places as a result.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
