Sanitary products made free to buy

What the petition asks
I want the government to Make period products such as tampons and pads free to buy in shops.
Many people in poverty do not have the money to buy the basic necessities. Periods are not an optional thing. It’s a need for everyone. Leaving people without period products is leading people to gain infections and having to resort to the worst things instead of period products. Why are we letting brands profit of something women and young girls need.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
