What the petition asks

Nurses who worked in 2022 and/or up until March 31st 2023 should be eligible for the one off payment.
The one off payment should be given to those who worked in the last financial year.
NOT just for those employed as of 31st March 2023.

Nurses have left because of poor pay and burn out from covid. They should be rewarded for their work.
Nurses have left in 2023 to care for their loved ones or to find a higher paying job due to the cost of living crisis.
Pay all nurses who worked the last tax year as it is intended as a rebate for past work, not a pay rise for this coming financial year.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
