What the petition asks

Bring back dog licencing to help keep all dogs and dog owners safe. Stop dogs going to irresponsible, unknowledgeable and under-researched owners, who buy dogs without knowing anything about the breed. Stop breaders profiting from selling puppies, back-street breeding and puppy farms.

Licencing will help keep tabs on dogs of reputable breeders and owners. Keeping dogs and puppies safe from mistreatment, neglect, abandonment from irresponsible owners.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
