What the petition asks

If all dog owners had a licence, all dogs could traced back to their owners.
If all breeders had breeders licences, subjecting them to vet checks, ensuring healthly breeds we would solve several issues
Dangerous dogs, overbreeding, rescue centres being full etc.

Dogs are currently being cruely over bred causing many health issues and people with lack of knowledge creating cross breeds such as xl bullys, banning the bullys solves nothing they will just move onto cross breeding mastiffs or other large breeds
You also have other dogs like french bulldogs who have been bred into all sorts of health issues
Licenceing both dog owners and a seperate license for breeders makes owners subject to vet checks and other rules for owning a dog

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
