Do not issue a social media curfew for 16 and 17 year olds or a ban.

This petition opposes any social media curfew or ban for 16–17 year olds. At this age we are trusted to work, pay taxes, learn to drive, and make important decisions about our education and future, so restricting social media is unfair. Social media is important for communication, school, work, and social life. Online safety should focus on protecting minors from adults who exploit or harass them, and on holding companies accountable, rather than restricting responsible teenagers.
