Petition

Make appropriate climate control a requirement for public facilities.

Rejected 17 signatures

What the petition asks

There should be a legal limit to the minimum and maximum temperatures that public facilities such as bathrooms and buses are able to reach. Appropriate climate control should be legislation to prevent strain on individual safety, healthcare companies and economic growth.
Buildings and transport in the UK are inappropriately equipped to deal with changing weather across the seasons.

The government should work with UK bus companies to arrange a removal of diesel buses from the country and replace them with the newer electric buses across all networks.

Additionally, implementation of appropriate air conditioning units (and potentially heaters) as required in public facilities should be supported by the government.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
