Petition
Mandatory installation Aircon on busses in London and south of the UK
Rejected

What the petition asks
The government should make all bus companies in London and south to instal Aircon, as it's a danger to passenger and the bus driver, exceeding 30 degrees Celsius Above these levels, the body struggles to cool itself, which can lead to life-threatening heat exhaustion or heatstroke.
Any enclosed bus, especially when parked in direct sunlight, can trap heat and quickly reach dangerous internal temperatures, often exceeding 40°C to 50°C (104°F to 122°F). For humans, a sustained ambient temperature of over 35°C to 40°C becomes unsafe, as the body struggles to cool itself, rapidly leading to heatstroke and dehydration.
Why it was rejected
It was about a matter for a local council or devolved government, not the UK Government or Parliament.
