Government's Economic Strategy

As an amendment to motion S4M-00844 in the name of John Swinney, (Government's Economic Strategy), leave out from "supports" to end and insert, "but while also welcoming a focus on accelerating economic recovery and tackling unemployment particularly among young people, believes that the Scottish Government needs to make full use of its existing powers to stimulate economic growth; endorses the goal of the Scottish Government to support the recovery through expanding capital investment, raising access to finance and boosting consumer confidence, and therefore calls on the Scottish Government to consult on the establishment of an infrastructure bank and to bring forward a budget bill that explicitly and clearly supports economic recovery."
