Motion · S1M-00825 · 9 May 2000
NHS Tayside
The motion
That the Parliament notes that the interim report of the task force into the alleged £12 million deficit in Tayside Acute Hospital Trust has revealed a lack of health leadership, poor communication between the Trust and its staff, inadequate interchange between Tayside Health Board and the Acute Hospital Trust and less than robust financial procedures, leading to inaccuracies in budgeting, and calls upon the Scottish Executive to ensure that any remedial action to recover the overspend will not impact on the healthcare offered to the people of Tayside nor unduly prejudice the outcome of the local acute services review.
