Ghurkas Welcome
The motion
That the Parliament calls on the Scottish Executive to make representations to Her Majesty’s Government on behalf of the Ghurkhas who have served in the British armed services to ensure that they automatically qualify for the right to British citizenship thereby giving priority, within the Executive's policies in respect of inward immigration, to those who have already established their credentials through loyal service to Scotland and the UK.
