Rail Action Group, East of Scotland
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Rail Action Group, East of Scotland (RAGES) for its work in campaigning for improved rail services on the East Coast Main Line; pledges its support for the reopening of stations on the line at Reston and East Linton; further supports the development of local rail services between Edinburgh, Dunbar and Berwick, and calls on the Scottish Executive to work with Scottish Borders Council, Network Rail and other interested parties to bring forward and fund proposals that will achieve these objectives.
