Third Green Flag for Portobello High School
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Portobello High School for being the first secondary school in Scotland to achieve the prestigious Eco Schools Green Flag status for the third time; applauds the dedication and commitment of pupils and teachers in all departments at Portobello High School in working towards integrating sustainable development issues into its curriculum; notes that over 2,500 schools in Scotland are now registered for the Eco Schools programme, and commends the programme for its successful work in encouraging whole-school action for the environment.
