Glasgow: The Ideal Place to Study
The motion
That the Parliament applauds Glasgow for being named as one of Britain’s urban gems by the Lonely Planet guidebook; congratulates the University of Glasgow for linking up with Lonely Planet to produce Study Glasgow; congratulates the university for being praised as the ideal place to study; notes that this is the first time in its history that Lonely Planet has linked up with a university, and believes that with its high-calibre educational institutes, vibrant night life, world-class museums and variety of leisure activities Glasgow will continue to attract students from all over the world.
