NHS Lanarkshire Laundry Team

That the Parliament congratulates the 10 members of NHS Lanarkshire health board’s laundry team on becoming the first group in the west of Scotland to successfully complete the Scottish Vocational Qualification level two in laundry services; notes the vital role that laundry services play in the NHS ensuring that health facilities are kept clean and free from infection, and highlights the importance of ensuring that NHS staff in Lanarkshire, and other NHS boards across Scotland, are provided with opportunities to improve their specialist skills and knowledge through training, thus improving the quality of service provided to patients.
