Withdrawal of Renfrew to Yoker Ferry
The motion
That the Parliament notes the decision by Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) to remove, from March 2010, the Renfrew to Yoker ferry service, one of Scotland’s oldest ferry links, used by 140,000 passengers a year, and calls on the SPT to re-evaluate the options with a view to retaining this essential service.
