Beautiful Glenrothes
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Glenrothes on being awarded the Large Town Trophy at the Beautiful Scotland Awards ceremony; notes that Fife Council also received the Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society Trophy for its displays in the town; praises Auchmuty and Dovecot Tenants and Residents Association for receiving the David Welch Award for Something Special; applauds Fife Council's Take a Pride in Glenrothes group and the parks department for their hard work and amazing floral displays, Glenrothes businesses for their sponsorship, the people of Glenrothes for their hard work and pride in their town, and considers that these awards reflect that Glenrothes is a great place to live and work.
