Green Gym Comes to West Wemyss
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the Green Gym programme to West Wemyss; understands that Green Gym offers the opportunity to improve fitness levels by allowing people to take part in practical environmental activities such as woodland management and vegetation clearance; believes that Green Gym offers an opportunity to learn new skills and get fit, learn more about biodiversity and conservation and make a positive contribution to the local environment and community; notes that the programme will be running from 4 October to 6 December 2010, and hopes that it will be the start of a long-term programme with the support of the community.
