Protect the 31 Bus Service in East Kilbride
The motion
That the Parliament is concerned that First Bus is considering the withdrawal of the 31 bus service from East Kilbride; urges First Bus to give full consideration to the views of those residents and bus passengers whose communities would be adversely affected by this service reduction; believes that the 31 service is a lifeline bus service in East Kilbride and that such services should be afforded a level of protection, and supports further regulation as a means of protecting socially necessary bus routes in Scotland.
