The Future of the Defence Industry in Scotland

As an amendment to motion S4M-08348 in the name of Johann Lamont (The Future of the Defence Industry in Scotland), after "Type 26 global combat ship" insert "; welcomes the announcement by the UK Government that three new offshore patrol vessels will be built in Scotland, sustaining the workforce between the completion of the Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers and the new generation of frigates, securing the vital skills needed to build the UK’s future warships".
