Hamewith Lodge Care Home in Aberdeen

That the Parliament congratulates the staff of Hamewith Lodge care home in Northfield in Aberdeen on organising an open day on 20 June 2014, which allowed members of the local community to visit the home and residents to take part in a number of events; recognises the efforts made by members of staff in organising musical entertainment, a tea party and activities to enable residents to recall memories from wartime; acknowledges what it considers the excellent work done by the home in providing care for 60 residents, both older people and younger people with care needs, and wishes the staff well in organising further successful open day events in the future.
