Family Service Unit Scotland (Circle), Edinburgh Western
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Family Service Unit Scotland (Circle), Edinburgh Western on securing funding of £10,000 from the Communities and Families Fund; understands that this grant will allow Circle to organise projects that promote healthy lifestyles, outdoor activities and provide support with parenting skills; believes that this is also an important initiative to encourage healthy outdoor activities among children, as well as fathers to be more actively involved in their child’s development; considers that new, healthy initiatives, such as a Circle, are of great importance for the wellbeing and health of people, while fostering team activities, and wishes Circle success on its efforts in promoting a healthy lifestyle in the Edinburgh Western area both for parents and children.
