Congratulations to the Wild Chimpanzee Foundation
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Wild Chimpanzee Foundation on being awarded the St Andrews Prize for the Environment; understands that this prize is an international initiative by the University of St Andrews and ConocoPhillips; notes that the award recognises significant contributions to environmental issues and concerns; further understands that the foundation aims to protect the largest remaining population of wild chimpanzees on the Foutah Djallon-Bafing River region in Guinea, West Africa, and wishes the foundation the best of luck for the future.
