Dirrans Centre
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the opening of the new building for head injury services based at the Dirrans Centre in Kilwinning; notes that the Dirrans Rehabilitation and Resource Service helps support people in their recovery from brain injury and adapt to whatever limitations they have; further notes that the service helps people with head injuries regain their independence, allows them to choose their own rehabilitation programme and offers various skills training and living support, and congratulates the previous North Ayrshire Council Labour administration on not only initiating this project but also identifying the £1.4 million required to make it happen.
