Wick Groats FC Triumphs
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Wick Groats FC on winning the Highland Amateur Cup on 24 July 2015 against Avoch at the Caledonian Stadium in Inverness by three goals to one after extra time; praises both teams for their efforts in a hard-fought game; notes that this is the second time in three years that the trophy has been won by the club; recognises that what it considers the huge role that amateur football plays in the Highlands, and hopes what it sees as the great success of this competition continues for many years to come.
