Aden Country Park
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Aden Country Park in Mintlaw on its funding from both the Community Food Fund and the Aberdeenshire Council Buchan Local Community Planning Group; understands that the funds will be used to stage the first Seedy Sunday Seed Food and Drink Festival, which is scheduled for 20 March 2016; recognises that the event is to focus on a "seed to plate" theme whereby it will celebrate local Aberdeenshire produce with a farmers' market, seed and plant swapping and the provision of insightful horticulture and food talks, demonstrations and workshops, and commends everyone involved in obtaining what it considers this essential funding.
