Garioch Community Kitchen
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates everyone at Garioch Community Kitchen on it being awarded a £9,780 grant from the Communities and Family Fund; understands that it will use this to provide healthy eating and cooking workshops for parents and their children; believes that the £6 million fund focuses on improving early learning, health and wellbeing for children under eight by supporting them, their families and communities through offering grassroots projects the chance to obtain awards of between £250 and £10,000, and commends all involved with the community kitchen in helping to obtain what it sees as essential funding.
