Glasgow's Bid to Become Scotland's Most Cycling-friendly City
The motion
That the Parliament understands that Glasgow has pledged to spend £6 million in a bid to become Scotland’s most cycle-friendly city; believes that the funds will be spent to create more traffic-segregated cycle paths, increase traffic calming schemes and develop other safety routes for cyclists, and understands that the strategy aims to double the number of cyclists in the city to 15,000 a day by 2025.
