Congratulations to Kanzen Karate Scotland
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kanzen Karate Scotland on its recent success at the World Union of Karate Federations European Championships 2016, which were held in Montichiari, Italy, between 13 and 16 October 2016 and attracted over 1,800 karate athletes; notes that the Kanzen 11-12 year-old boys team from Dundee became European Champions alongside Oliver Bruce from Baldragon Academy who became individual European Karate Champion in the 11-12 years section; understands that the entire squad performed well, winning medals in other sections; acknowledges the work of coaches, students and supporters in making this happen, and wishes the team continued success in international competition.
