Pantomime Raises £8,500 for the Archie Foundation
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen Performing Arts, His Majesty’s Theatre and the people of Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire on raising almost £8,500 over the festive period for the Archie Foundation through a production of the pantomime, Dick Whittington; welcomes the news that this will be used to support families, patients and staff at the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital; thanks the audience for their generosity; understands that the show's cast took time off between performances to visit the hospital in order to entertain the young patients, and wishes them all the best.
