Move More Aberdeen
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Move More Aberdeen on winning the Aberdeen Council of Voluntary Organisations award for Connecting and Collaborating; understands that the award is in recognition of the impact that it has had on cancer services in the region; notes that Move More's message is to promote gentle exercise after treatment for cancer as a means of enhancing physical and emotional health for those in remission; welcomes research by Macmillan Cancer Support into the impact of exercise on improved recovery after treatment for cancer, and commends all the staff and volunteers involved with Move More and what it sees as the vital services that it provides.
