ASDA Foundation
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the role of the ASDA Foundation, a charitable company that provides grants to a range of good causes; applauds the foundation for investing £370,000 in community projects and good causes across Scotland in the last year; commends the work of ASDA employees known as Community Champions for their role in working with a range of individuals, charities and projects in their communities; welcomes the announcement of the most recent round of awards from the six stores in the Glasgow Region that saw financial donations to good causes, including hospital radio, the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice and Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, and wishes the foundation and all those involved in making a difference through their donations well in the future.
