Electrical Apprentice of the Year Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Stephen Berry, on being a finalist in the recent Electrical Apprentice of the Year Award, which is sponsored by the Scottish Joint Industry Board and Edmundson Electrical; recognises that Stephen was one of the three finalists chosen from over 3,000 apprentices; understands that the electrical industry modern apprenticeship programme recruits around 700 young people each year, and acknowledges that this award encourages and rewards those apprentices who have demonstrated that they have attained the highest standards of academic and technical competence and displayed excellent personal qualities in their education and training.
